Restart your phone

If you haven’t tried it yet, the first thing to do is to restart your phone.

When you turn your smartphone off and on again, all processes and apps are restarted, so any temporary problems are resolved.

Update all apps

Sometimes the System UI error could be caused by any bugs present in one or more applications installed on the Android phone or tablet.

Considering that developers are constantly updating their programs, it’s a good idea to make sure you have the latest version.

To update your apps, open the Play Store and go to the section Manage app and device. At this point select the item “Update all”.

Update your phone

Just like you did with the apps, you should make sure you have the latest version of Android and check if there is a software update available for your phone.

Sometimes even OS updates can fix and resolve annoying incompatibility errors.

As we have also seen in our dedicated guide, clearing the cache does not delete any files or personal data. In case the clearing of the cache was not successful, you can proceed with that of the app data.

  1. Open the Settings;
  2. Go to App> App Management;
  3. Search for the application concerned and click on it;

Google Play services are the engine of all Android applications installed on the device. If Google Play Services stops working, errors occur and your phone may no longer work properly.

It is therefore good to make sure you have the latest version of Google Play Services on your smartphone or tablet. Here’s how to update Google Play services:
